This office sponsors Career and Graduate Day, at the beginning of every fall semester and Summer/Spring Job Fair and Teacher Job Fair during the spring semester. These career day events are dedicated to exploration and networking. Students of all classifications are encouraged to browse the career fairs and talk with recruiters about qualifications and experience needed to obtain a future full-time position or internship with each individual agency.

Career/Graduate Day will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2009 in the Friedman Student Union Ballroom from 9:00 am-2:00 pm.

Spring/Summer Job Fair will be held in the Student Union Ballroom on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Recruiters for temporary summer employment, internship positions and some full-time employment will be attending.

Teacher Job Fair is offered every Spring semester for upper- level education majors, alternative certification majors, education graduate students, and education alumni. The date for the 2010 Teacher Job Fair, is Tuesday, April 20, 2009. This is an actual interview time for students. Recruiters from most parishes in Louisiana and school districts from surrounding states come on campus to interview students for future job placement.
